Packers Will Play New York Giants In London In Week 5 Of 2022 Season

For the first time in history, the Green Bay Packers will play a game across the pond in 2022. It was announced a few weeks ago that Green Bay would have one of their home games this season being taken away for a trip overseas as the NFL continues to expand its brand globally. The Packers are one of the NFL's most recognizable brands and the league has been trying to get them an international game for years.

It was announced that the Green Bay Packers will play the New York Giants in Week 5 in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 9th. The game will start at 8:30 AM Central Time.

The rest of the NFL schedule is slated to come out over the next few weeks, but this is the first game that the Packers know will be on the schedule.

The game against the Giants will feature one of the best teams in the NFL against a young, up and coming team lead by new head coach Brian Daboll. The Giants just had two Top 10 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, which they used to select Oregon edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux and Alabama tackle Evan Neal. The Packers also had two first round picks, selecting in the 20s where they took Georgia linebacker Quay Walker and Georgia defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt.

It's currently still unknown if the Packers will have a bye week before or after the game in London. But for any Packers fans in the United Kingdom, this is great news as they'll get a chance to see the Pack in person. Back at home, it'll be an early morning for Packers fans.
