Chris Broussard: “I think he’s the best in the world, he’s smart and big which is a great combination. The only reason people say he isn’t that guy is because of his defense which I also understand. The difference is he’s so good at offense and they run it through him, there’s nothing he can’t do with the ball. He can wear that crown as the best player in the world.”
Brian Noe: “You also have to think this is like College Football rankings, one week Jokic is the best and the next week he’s not. I would say Embiid but right now Jokic is playing better and Embiid blew it in game 7 against the Celtics.”

Tonight on The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard & Brian Noe, they give their thoughts on if Nikola Jokic should have received the MVP award over Joel Embiid. The guys believe that Nikola has made a serious case for MVP after his playoff debut. At the same time, Chris and Brian both think that the playoffs shouldn’t matter or determine your ‘regular’ season MVP. The two also talk about some ideas the league could do to make the awards more exciting for the fans and players.
