In a surprising, yet not surprising turn of events David Stearns announced he would be stepping down from the position of Brewers GM and take on an advisor role. Many have said for years that David Stearns was going to leave Milwaukee to head home to New York and join the Mets when his contract ended. Well with one year left on his contract with the Brewers he stepped down from his position with the team but said he's not going anywhere. Many aren't buying Stearns comments saying that once his contract is up he will be moving on to the Mets which had the boys on The Steve Czaban show in discussion of why the Brewers should try to get something for him while they still can. Czabe said the Brewers should try to get Pete Alonso (lol yeah right) while Josh said the Mets aren't going to trade anything knowing they can get him outright next year. But the biggest shock was Scott Dolphin who said he wanted the Mets to send their mascot Mr.Met to the Crew and that he wasn't the biggest fan of Bernie Brewer.
