Paul Chryst opened fall camp with a press conference, updating a few roster and injury situations and describing how the team is dealing with lofty expectations this season.
While most of the injury updates, such as Isaiahh Loudermilk not being available until Big Ten play, were expected, there were still a couple of surprises when it came to the roster. Offensive tackle Patrick Kasl, who played in every game last season, has left the team to pursue academics at UW.
In terms of expectations, Chryst isn't all that concerned with the outside perception of the Badgers. It's a new season and Wisconsin has turned the page.
