For the 17th straight year, Wisconsin is bowl-eligible. The Badgers beat Rutgers 31-17 on Saturday, but also lost quarterback Alex Hornibrook for the second half.
Hornibrook was 7-of-16 passing for 92 yards and two interceptions. Sophomore Jack Coan stepped in to go 5-of-7 for 64 yards and a touchdown to Danny Davis.
New Jersey native Jonathan Taylor ran for 213 yards and a trio of touchdowns, as the Badgers piled up 317 rushing yards in the two-touchdown victory.
Wisconsin is at Penn State next week. Kickoff time was not available as of the end of the Wisconsin-Rutgers game.
