Wisconsin trailed by seven at halftime, but rallied with 50 second-half points to take down NC State 79-75 on Tuesday night in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge at the Kohl Center.
Ethan Happ led the way with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while D'Mitrik Trice added 18 while dishing out six assists. Brad Davison and Aleem Ford each had 12 points in the victory as well for the Badgers.
NC State was led in scoring by Markell Johnson. Torin Dorn had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and C.J. Bryce scored 18 while grabbing seven boards.
Next up for the 6-1 Badgers is their Big Ten opener at Iowa on Friday night. It'll be a match-up of Top 25 squads, with Wisconsin checking in at #22, while Iowa is ranked #14.
