Game Audio: MBB: Wisconsin dominates Savannah State 101-60

Wisconsin improved to 9-2 by blowing out Savannah State at the Kohl Center 101-60 on Thursday night.The Badgers have opened the season 9-2 or better in 14 of the last 17 seasons.

The Badgers scored 101 points, reaching 100 for the 41st time in school history and the first time since scoring 103 against North Dakota on Nov. 19, 2013. The scoring output marked just the second 100-point game for UW since 1995 and its second 100-point outing ever in the Kohl Center.

Senior F Ethan Happ finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists with 0 turnovers. Happ went 7-for-8 from the field and 4-for-5 at the FT line. Happ posted his 40th career double-double — second-most in school history behind Joe Franklin (47, 1966-68) — and his 9th in 11 games this season.

With 1,752 career points, Happ moved into 5th place on UW's all-time scoring list, passing Rick Olson (1,736) and Claude Gregory (1,745).

Sophomore G Brad Davison recorded a season-high 24 points, his third career game with 20-plus. Davison connected on a career-high 6 3-pointers, going 6-for-9 from long range.

Sophomore G D'Mitrik Trice scored 14 points, going 4-for-7 from 3-point range. Trice is now 35-for-63 (.556) on the season. He entered the night 4th in the nation in 3FG percentage.
