Big Ten football may be back, and we may know as soon as Tuesday night.
University of Nebraska President Ted Carter was caught on a hot mic before a news conference saying that an announcement on Big Ten football was coming Tuesday night.
According to KETV in Omaha, Nebraska, Carter's comment to Bob Hinson, the director of the National Strategic Research Institute, on Tuesday morning was that the Big Ten was getting ready to make an announcement on football 'tonight'.
Moments earlier, University of Wisconsin Chancellor Rebecca Blank told reporters that the Big Ten had postponed fall sports due to concerns about myocarditis, as well as the availability of testing and contact tracing. Blank said that once there are answers to those issues, the Big Ten will try to play a delayed season.
