Friday, the second known date and fourth known non-conference opponent for Wisconsin men's basketball was revealed.
According to ESPN, the Big Ten/ACC Challenge will include a match-up between Wisconsin and Louisville in Madison on December 9 in men's basketball.
Despite each program's success over the years, the Badgers and Cardinals have met just once in history: 1978, a 70-53 win for Louisville.
Earlier this week, Marquette revealed that the Badgers would be visiting Milwaukee on December 4 to renew their intra-state rivalry. The Marquette announcement also indicated that the Badgers would play Eastern Illinois and Arkansas-Pine Bluff as part of an in-season event, with dates tentatively scheduled for November 25 and 27.
