It was again a tale of too-little-too-late for the struggling Wisconsin men's basketball team, who have now lost four of their last five games after falling at Purdue on Tuesday night, 73-69.
Once again, Wisconsin was atrocious from beyond the arc, hitting on just 4 of their final 26 three-point attempts after making their first three to finish 7 of 29, just 24.1 percent for the game.
Defensively, the Badgers simply could not contain Purdue center Zach Edey, who scored a season-high 21 points on 8 of 11 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds.
Wisconsin (16-10, 10-9 Big Ten) has just one more regular season game before the Big Ten Conference Tournament, at No. 5 Iowa on Sunday.
